Some Additional Help For Running Your Software
LOADING VARIOUS IP RANGES THAT COME WITH THE SOFTWARE:
To load various ip ranges that come with the software, you click on: "load listing". Then you go into the folder "ip lists" to load one. Starting with the Adelphia ip's works great. It will try to send 1000's of notes to ips but they won't all go.
Some reasons many ip addresses don't send (this doesn't mean the software is faulty -- the software works smoothly as long as the computer has the capabilities to run it):
1. Your ISP do not allow NET SEND command. (most isp's do allow it, so this usually isn't a problem)
2. The ISP of the ip addresses block NET SEND message.
3. The target ip addresses are not online.
4. The target ip addresses has a program to block NET SEND message.
5. The target ip addresses use an older version of Windows and don't receive NET SEND messages.
Since the ad pops up right on the top of their desktop, even having 500-1000 that get through is a great deal. Each popup box is sure to be seen. Some of the IP lists will be better than others.
If you wish to find new, updated ip listings, you can do a search on the internet for places that offer those.
ADDING YOUR OWN IP RANGES TO THE SOFTWARE
If you want to add different IP ranges to your software, all you have to do is copy one of the .txt files that come with it and call it "new ip's" or whatever you wish to call it. Put the exact same information in the text file as in the other ip range text files -- except change the ip ranges. Then follow the directions above to call in that file.
